Small on the left chest. Large across the back.
The three-pointed crown is Basquiat's mark. He used it to coronate the people he thought deserved it — jazz musicians, boxers, writers — figures he put on the throne himself rather than waiting for anyone to hand it over. It's a gesture of self-coronation as much as tribute.
On a washed black hoodie, the graphic sits into the fabric rather than on top of it. The finish fades with wear, so the crown softens as the piece breaks in.
Fabric & construction
440gsm combed cotton in a 32-count plain weave, washed for a faded, broken-in finish. Pre-shrunk. Snug collar, kangaroo pocket, dropped shoulders, side-seamed with binding tape at the neck and shoulders and double-stitched ribbed cuffs and hem.
Fit
Oversized through the body with dropped shoulders. True to size for a heavy, boxy drape. Size down for something closer to the body — at 440gsm this holds its shape rather than collapsing.

Care
Wash on the reverse side with neutral detergents. Do not soak, bleach, or dry in direct sun. Low heat only for iron, steam, or tumble dry. The washed finish is meant to fade — that's the point.

Regular tees: 180g cotton, true to size, everyday fit.
Oversized & premium tees: 280–305g heavyweight cotton, boxy drape, relaxed shoulders. Size up for a looser look, down for a closer fit.
Polos: 220g pique cotton with a contrast collar — structured and clean, fits between a tee and a button-up.
Hoodies & sweatshirts: 440gsm brushed fleece, heavyweight and warm, relaxed fit.
Shorts: 425gsm heavyweight cotton, relaxed and baggy.

Hang dry or tumble low — high heat fades prints and shrinks cotton.
